Klaw Poké

Capel Street, Dublin

We were approached by the guys at Klaw, at the very early stages of construction of the newest addition to their Klaw family – a new restaurant called Poké.

Their vision was to create a cool space for this new food offering through the use of clever interior design and original use of materials in this confined city centre space.

While we needed to carefully consider the interior of the original Klaw outlet in Temple Bar, NYD also thought it was important for the newest venture to have a unique identity of its own. Our brief included the joinery and bar construction, as well as the complete fit out. While remaining faithful to the relaxed, casual vibe synonymous with Klaw, we managed to create a distinctive space that could stand on its own. Initial design time was two months with an on-site fit out of only three weeks from start to finish.
