We are the people with the vision, experience and skills necessary to make your project come to life. We’ve been carefully assembled to cover every specialty and strength you’ll need along the journey.

Collaboration is key to everything we do at NYD. From the initial stages of concept development, right through the final little details of execution that bring it to the next level, everyone has the chance to contribute their vision to a project.

We are all highly qualified, highly experienced and see every project as an opportunity to build on an industry-wide reputation for excellence, quality and imagination.

Russell Garnaut – NYD Operations Manager

Russell is a native of the south coast of Australia where his background was in large-scale infrastructure projects. His work on major music and sporting events brought him to Europe and, luckily for us, eventually to Ireland. It wasn’t long before he was working on some international brands and large scale projects for our sister company, which ultimately led to his appointment as our Operations Manager. He’s charged with coordinating our team of project managers, technicians and designers and his hands-on experience in senior logistical roles make him an invaluable member of the NYD team.

Neil Jordan – NYD Creative Director

Neil has over twenty year’s experience in specialised, custom design projects for major brands and businesses across a wide variety of industries. He’s highly sensitive to the components needed to create unique spaces, and his varied skill set is specifically tailored to designing areas that enhance a user’s experience. Whereas his passion might lie in the creative and conceptual side of NYD, his hands-on experience of materials has meant the manufacturing boundaries have also been tested to their limit. Neil’s extensive experience is reflected in every NYD project and the very occasional grey hair that makes a break for freedom.

Kate Hartley – Interior Designer & Project Manager

Dog-crazy Kate started her career in Fine Art & Photography in London before progressing to interior renovations where she undertook design & build projects across Europe. Her enthusiasm for the work led to her qualifying in Interior Designer and Project Management in 2013, and now she’s busy studying for a Master of Arts in Professional Design Practice. With over twenty years experience in the design and construction industries, she’s worked nationally and internationally in the commercial, hospitality, retail and residential sectors. She takes projects from initial client meetings right through to installation, including the sourcing of all finishes and materials. And when she’s not doing that, you’ll find her on a beach or a mountain hike with her much-loved rescue dog Mavis-Daisy.
